• The upgrade stalled at 59% (434 out of 736 subscribers on my list). I restarted from scratch, and got exactly the same result.

Version 2 was working well enough, and I feel better about not upgrading after reading the problems that others are having with Version 3. This was an exciting product when it first came out, but I’m not really sure where it’s heading.

  • Hi @tommcgee,

Sorry to hear that the migration didn’t work. We’ve checked our system and couldn’t find any support tickets from yourself.

If you could send us an email (support(at)mailpoet.com) and we’d be happy to assist you in getting the migration working to get you switched from version 2 to version 3.

We’re constantly working on improving MailPoet and while a handful of users have problems from time to time, we always work to assist them in a timely manner and get any issues resolved. And there are tens of thousands of users that everything runs smoothly for.

We look forward to helping you get this resolved! ??

I’m pretty sure I know what the problem is. My provider only gives me PHP 7.0 at this time, but you’re recommending 7.2. But I’d be happy to hear I’m wrong, and I’ll revisit if that’s the case.

    Hey @tommcgee,

I’m afraid that’s not the case. Right now, MailPoet 3 requires PHP version 5.6 or higher, so it should be working if you’re using PHP Version 7.0

Please contact us so we can take a closer look at the issue you’re facing.

I added a support entry here on www.ads-software.com. Let me know what other information I can supply.

Several updates later, I tried again today. The import/upgrade STILL fails without any helpful information at all.
