Star Ratings for Woo Category

  • Hi,

    Your plugin is awesome for putting shortcodes into blog posts but when I try to display visitor rating for woocommerce categories, nothing shows up :/

    Do you know what is the reason for this and if its doable to show up on such a page?

    In a category it can’t work, because you can rate an item (post or page) but not a category

    In your experience, does using a review rating for category (this is the only rating that shows in a Woo category) can land a site Google penalty?

    I don’t think so, but stars will never be index in google in a category page (it’s not really a page, but an archive page https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Creating_an_Archive_Index )

    Further this, Yasr to work need a postId, wich an archive page doesn’t have.
    So you should use the shortcode along the postid parameter
