Import Clarification

    Hi WPMU DEV,

    I’m a bit confused regarding how the import/export function is supposed to work. I’ve set up custom sidebars, dragged in widgets, and configured those widgets.

    When I export and then import the sidebars into another site, I see the sidebars and the widgets they contain. But the widgets have lost their settings.

    Moreover, all instances of those widgets have lost their configuration — even those not in Custom Sidebars.

    Is this expected, or is something going awry? Thank you!

    I should mention I have enabled logging in wp-config.php. No errors have shown up.
