Registered users are being auto approved (2.0.33)

  • Registered users are being auto approved even if I did all the configuration and stuff.
    – Turned off anyone can register in the general settings page
    – configured user-role registration option to be admin reviewed
    As far as I found out this issue has been around from 2.0.10+ . Any suggestion?

    Well it seems It was having conflict with W3 Total Cache plugin -> database cache option. I found it out by some absurd luck because I just happened to disable that option and thought i better check the registration issue. And wholla, it worked, user is being put to pending.
    I will update more if there is anymore news.
    So for the support team, It would be nice if you guys look into the issue and provide some explanation to what was it that caused the issue.
