  • Same problem. We need solution.

I just spent the last three hours recovering from the 5.0 upgrade, I saw the same Kingcomposer disappearing like in your screenshot. I had to completely remove database and filesystem, install wordpress 4.9.8 from scratch, then reload from this morning’s backup. (Backup every day!)
Now, I cannot upgrade to WordPress 5.0 until Kingcomposer has a migration solution to WordPress page builder blocks. This will put Kingcomposer out of business I guess. Anyway, good luck..

I installed the free plugin Classic Editor and was able to regain King Composer elements with WP 5.0. But yeah can’t believe this plugin didn’t address it with a blog post or something.

    Thanks a lot paulbuijs,

I was struggling to fix this issue from long time, but after installing the classic editor things are resolved. Thanks again.

    Hi Guys,

The new version is ready. You can update plugin. We have updated to KC compatible with WP 5.

    Best regards,

    Thank you ??

@blackdevilk9it I updated King Composer and selected Posts as type of content to enable King with. With Posts checked I can’t load my posts list to edit any of the single posts. With Posts unslected I can edit a post again (of course without King Composer).

Thank you Anthony! Just tested it, awesome!!!!!!!!!
