• Really complex to use and no real added value.

What is the point, for example, of moving up and down elements: eevrybody knows how to cut and paste!!

  • Not everyone knows to cut and paste as an immediate first action. For example, user testing shows that it can be pretty difficult for a novice user to move an image from one part of the content to another. Because of that, one of the updates in the new editor is to add tools to make that easier. However, you can of course still copy and paste without using the block movers. And if those tools are getting in the way for you, may I suggest that you give Fullscreen Mode a try? You can find it in the More menu at the very top right if you’re interested.

    Dear designsimply,

I know that there is always resistance to change but I can hardly believe that anyone may find simpler to use the Gutenberg interface than the classic one.

Anyhow it may just be a question of taste but my guess is that anyone that has difficulties with cut&paste is going to feel intimidated by Gutenberg interface.

    Future will tell ??

    Regards,

    Eduardo
