Slow with ‘super users’

    Hello–

    We use this plugin on our site so that users, when they are browsing a product, the ‘download now’ button appears if they have already purchased the design. However, some of our ‘super-users’ (more than 1000 designs purchased) have reported performance issues. I paid a developer to look into the issue, and he narrowed it to the call, “WC()->customer->get_downloadable_products()”

    Do you have any suggestions on this? We like the plugin, but the performance issues are going to make me disable it, unfortunately. If you have another solution, I’m open as well.

    Is this issue more pronounced during page load or during file download?

    Ok mate I was planning on working on performance improvements soon so I’ll just start working on it now. Currently there are too many identical checks run to determine if a product is valid, basically duplicating the work load.

    Ok so I have the plugin working in a much leaner way now. Free check and owned checks are now performed once during page load. They were always performed once during download, so no changes needed there.

    Just want to do a bit more testing before updating.
