• Hello,

I use the events manager pro for WordPress 5. Now I can set an event for a whole month but I would like to exclude one day. Unfortunately this is not possible by default.

Could anyone realize this for me? I have a budget of 95 dollar.

    Thank you so much!
    Roy

  • Hello,

The easiest way to exclude it from an Event List is by adding that event to a Category and Exclude that category from displaying using a shortcode.

Example is: Let’s say the category you want to exclude has an ID of 14. You could pass the ID on category attribute and add a negative sign before it.

    [events_list category="-14"]#_EVENTNAME <br/>[/events_list]

But then I exclude an entire category and not one day of the event? The categories in our case are school classes.

    Group 1
    Group 2
    Group 3
    etc..

    Hello,

Sorry but I’m currently confused with your reply? I noticed that you’re also using EM Pro, We could take a look at your issue more prioritized if you submit it on your Pro Support. https://eventsmanagerpro.com/support/

If you’re using Recurring Events and only want to exclude 1 of the recurring days on display, Then you would need to modify that generated event directly and exclude it with a category. (Please do note about the Notice message when modifying an Event from recurring.)

    Returning to your first message.

I have add a event for this whole month (december). How can I exclude one or more days with a category? That is unclear to me.

Entries must also be based on one event.
