What is the value of the SMTP Host that you are trying to save?

    Hi,
I have the same issue. Everything saves fine except for the SMTP host name. It resets on every save to ‘0’.

I have tried a number of different smtp hosts:

    mail.excusivehosting.net
    smtp.office365.com

    Thanks

Is there seriously no answer to this?

    Hi,

I got this to work with the 0 in place. I could send mail to the specified admin email address. You know the one under General settings in the dashboard?

I think the 0 refers to the hosting servers default SMTP server, but I could be mistaken.

I successfully sent to a gmail address but had absolutely no luck with sending to an Office 365 address and nothing appears in any of the 365 blocked lists or quarantine lists.

    Anyone else?

    Iain

Same problem here. Tried to use both smtp.office365.com and it’s IP address but every time I save it gets set back to 0. Everything else seems to save fine.

Hi all – I’m sorry about this odd issue!

@iain616 when you get a chance, would you be willing to clarify some details on what you’re seeing? For example — it sounds like the test email in WP Mail SMTP is working (even when the “0” value is in place). Is that correct?

And if so, could you let me know a little more about what you see when an email does work? Specifically, does the From Email/From Name appear correctly?

In case it helps, I’m trying to sort out a couple of things with these details:

    1) Whether SMTP can work properly for Office 365 even when the “0” value gets added.
    2) Whether the issue you’re seeing with sending emails to an Office 365 email is more likely related to SMTP not working or additional filtering within the recipient account (which we’ve seen as an issue with some Office 365 emails in the past).

Thanks! Please let me know ??
