• A clear and easy to use SEO plugin. Easy import from Yoast or All In One SEO. My only issue – unclear labeling of the switch to add / suppress rel=”canonical”. I turned it on, which disabled all canonicalization on my site. Not desirable. Other than that, and when that’s resolved, five stars.

    Hello @skipshean,

Thank you for casting vote for SmartCrawl.

Just to be sure – you have enabled ” Hide redundant canonical link tags ” and it disabled all the canonical links on your site?
It should only hide the redundant links. Let me know and we will investigate.

    kind regards,
    Kasia

I *did* enable it. It removed ALL canonicals. I reached out to your support, we tested both ways, and what we needed to do was leave that switch *unselected* for the canonical to stay on page. I’m sure it’ll get squared away soon.

    Hello @skipshean

    Thank you for your feedback!

The SmarCrawl shouldn’t hide canonicals links on pages that need it. Although we could not replicate the same issue, we will investigate it further.

    Kind regards,
    Nastia
