Today we started getting the notice about our connection to Facebook needing to be refreshed. When I go to the publicize options and try to refresh, I just get this error code -32300 and I’m unable to refresh the connection which isn’t working anymore. I tried adding a new connection and I get the exact same error.

I’d appreciate any help with this situation.

    Hi there,

Can you please follow these instructions to properly re-connect to Facebook:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-services

Pay special attention to the 3rd and 4th step.

If this doesn’t work or you have more questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help!

    Hi Fotis,

I’ve tried this and when trying to Connect the Facebook Page, I am still getting the same error message:

“Something which should never happen, happened. Sorry about that. If you try again, maybe it will work.

    Error code: -32300”

    Hi there!

I ran your site through the Jetpack debugger and found out that your xmlrpc.php file is being blocked from your server side. The error reads:

    Communication error

This may be the cause of your Facebook connection problem.

I suggest getting in touch with your hosting provider and report the error, as they should be able to sort that our for you.

Let me know how it goes and if you need further help from our end!
