• Sometime earlier this week I was having trouble with my WP admin dashboard loading horribly slow. I noticed the issue was happening on Monday 12/3/2018. At first, I suspected it was the CloudFlare CDN I added that was causing issues. I excluded the admin area from being cached and it immediately improved the performance.

However, I can’t seem to access any plugins or edit any of the code within the “Appearance” tab. In fact, it’s completely gone.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
