• Hiya

I’ve upgraded the Google recaptcha keys for my websites to version 3 and installed them in the ‘Contact Form’ – ‘Integration’ section. With the v2 keys, I never got spam from my contact forms. Now, the spam is starting to flow. I look after about 60 websites for myself and my clients. None of us will be happy if we get daily spam.

How can we tighten the security? And solve this problem?

    Thanks!

    Mcmas

  • I have the same issue

I updated 27 clients with version 5.1, included V3 keys and within hours spam starting flowing in all almost every client. V2 … no issue.

This is causing a major issue for me ….

Is there something we should/must do? The documentation does not have any guidance.

Causing a major issue for me as well, we have over 60 spam emails a day now on one site.. plus Google put an annoying little box in the corner which is interfering with my chat function….

Same issue on my clients site. Spam count as if there was not captcha. Why can’t you provide option of captcha v2 on newer versions?

Same issue here as well. Loads of spam via contact forms since installing v3 yesterday

I agree, this is creating problems for us as well. Since switching to version 3 of recaptcha we are drowning in SPAM.

Agreed – same issue here. Hoping for a resolution soon.

Same, thought it might be DIVI theme, but looks like it is WP5+ in general.

Same here, went back to v2 but the ‘I’m not a robot’ doesn’t work anymore. So I’m following this discussion for a solution.

Same here. Went from only 2 or 3 spame a day to over 20 now.

Im having the same problem. I can’t even add in Recaptcha into the form. Im still on V2 and getting spam. (i assume because its not on my contact form)
I hope they sort a fix out soon!

Same… Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Same here: from no spam to.. spam. It would be nice if we could choose between v2 and v3. Why do we have to go to v3 anyway? (plus.. why hasn’t this been tested??)

    Same problem here!

Same problem here guys. Would love to know if there is a solution. Otherwise it’s a good time to switch to a CRM integrated form for me.
