Editor of events showing letters always white!

    If I try to add a new event , then the editor writes in white letters.
    If I try to edit a past event, all seem white. If i select the white space, I can copy the text but it only in html mode. The classic editor mode is not working.

    Any ideas/suggestions?
    Wordpress still in 4.9 but everything worked 2 days ago.
    I updated the plugin.
    Everything else, posts and pages, editor works fine

  • Are you talking about editing in the Admin or front-end?
    If in the front-end, could you please provide a link?

    Are you using Gutenberg in WP 4.9? My best advise: don’t even try using Gutenberg, but I personally HATE it ??

    I was talking about the admin area.
    I found out that there was a conflict between your plugin and Post gallery plugin
    post gallery.
    Now site is upoadated to 5.1 wordpress.
    I dont use guteneberg, just the classic editor.
    I believe taht some js files were not loading correctly, because also other buttons on page , didnot work properly (such as screen options at the top of the page).
    I had deactivated the other plugin and everything is Okay for now. The other plugin is rarely used , so , so far, so good.
    Do you suggest that i should disable gutenberg although i use classic editor only?

    Hello,

    If you’re using WP 5.0 above then it comes with gutenberg (No need to Install the gutenberg plugin), Then you could Install the Classic Editor Plugin and switch to it. The gutenberg would be then disabled.

    I have also tried install the Post Gallery plugin with latest EM Version and I don’t see the issue with the white letters.

    Hi,
    I am using 5.01, I have installed the classic editor plugin .
    I have a lot of plugin right now , 30, and I deactivated them all. The issue was with Post Gallery.
    The only thing I havent try is the disable the gutenberg. i am using also the wp bakery plugin but not for the events.
    I ll try that also, disable gutenberg.thanks for the replies

    you can also use new WP Safe Mode to help you trace future plugin or theme conflicts without actually deactivating theme (same EM author)
