• UPDATE: I have a suggestion! Implement this for pages but NOt for blogs posts or at least let people choose. People who simply blog are often not familiar with page builders and anyway in that context, they just make things harder!

This interface constantly gets in my way. It is clunky and lags and it makes it harder to see the HTML. I was trying to confirm the Google doc stuff was stripped out, which would be easy with the old design.

I can’t even scroll properly in the main window so I can’t get past the length of what is on my screen! I tried this when it was beta before they forced it on us and I hated it then. It’s no better now.

I love WordPress but I hate this “upgrade.” Why can’t you just leave things alone? This is really a “downgrade” that makes me think of switching to a competitor.

  • Thank you so much not just for trying Gutenberg out but also for sharing your feedback here. Without feedback we can’t hope to continue moving forward. I’m your experience with Gutenberg wasn’t a positive one, but it would be appreciated if you shared some specific examples of what doesn’t work for you so we can work to improve the experience overall. You can share that here or log an issue on the GitHub repo here:?https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues.

If you’re absolutely not comfortable with the Gutenberg experience, you can always opt for the classic editor with this:?https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/classic-editor/
