    Hi,

I have created a simple sign-up form to my website that includes an email field along with a few radio buttons that ask whether you would like to receive certain information about courses, events, or both (‘both’ being pre-selected).

When the user enters their email and selects one of the radio buttons, only the users email is sent to the Mail Chimp list.

How can I create it so that when the user submits their preference, it states it somewhere in the mailing list on Mail Chimp?

E.g. I want to sign up to receive information about events only, nothing else. I select the ‘Events’ radio button, enter my email and sign up. Once I’ve confirmed the email, on the Mail Chimp website (under the subscribers list), it only states my email address and not the radio button preference I selected. How can I make the radio button information also visible?

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Please note that our plugin only sends the information from the form that is linked to some fields in your MailChimp.com list. Are the radio buttons you created related to some interest groups?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

The radio buttons are to filter out people who may only want info on events or course related things. This is so I can send out relevant information to the right people. There will be a range of people using the site from the community as well as students.

So for example, students may only want to receive info about courses and not events. Therefore, when they selected ‘Courses’ along with their email, they only receive information about courses and not events.

If this isn’t possible by radio buttons, what other other would you suggest? Or is it not really an option with Mail Chimp?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I did understand that. What I was asking is if the radio buttons are linked to certain fields in your MailChimp.com account? if not, then you first need to create these fields in your MailChimp list and then add it to our form.
