Outputting files to hosting server

    Hello: I have Updraft configured to send backup files to a Dropbox account, which it does, however, it also puts a copy on the hosting server, which violates their Terms of Agreement. Is there a setting that I am missing?

    Just an FYI – Delete Local Backup, is checked.

    Hi,

    A backup has to be created on the hard disk locally before it can be copied to somewhere else. The “Delete local backups” setting means “delete the local copy once it’s been sent”.

    Does your hosting company really forbid that? I’ve only ever heard of TOS that forbid long-term local storage, not the use of local storage for piecing the backup together.
