• Hi,

    I am working with WordPress 5.0.2 for my website, but it appears there is no Post Attributes widget when I am editing Posts. It is shown for Pages however.
    I have checked every checkbox available, in order to display every widget available but Page Attributes is not one of them.

    I use a Child-Theme (which contains an index.php), based on Hestia-pro theme.
    I have tried using the old editor plug-in to restore the previous editor, but it changes nothing. I cannot say if the issue is new or not, as I don’t ever tried to change a post template yet. Maybe I never had access to page attributes for posts.

    Does anyone have or have had a similar issue and could tell me how to fix it?
    Let me know if you need additional information.

    Thank you,
    Florian

    Actually I solved it at the moment.

    It seems that Hestia-pro template files do not define if they are available for post or not, so they are not considered for posts, which deactivated Post Attributes while editing.

    It looks like putting
    /* Template Post Type: post*/
    fixed the issue.

    Sorry for the bother.
