Backup starts but never finishes

Hi, this plugin was working great until the scheduled weekly backup on December 4 never happened. I logged into the Dashboard and the wheel was spinning as if it was backing up and there was the message, “Backing up files…” but it never ended and backed anything up. I’ve tried stopping it and starting it over again manually, uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, and nothing seems to get it working again.

Ideas?
