Download Link Not Consistently Working

    Hi.

    The download link I have shared with a couple of different users doesn’t seem to work consistently. I don’t necessarily think it is an issue with the plug-in itself (although it may be).

    Have any other users reported a similar issue, where the file wouldn’t download at all, or the file didn’t contain the most recent entries? Quite simply, one day it doesn’t work and the next day it does.

    Hi @lkeiner,

    Sorry for the late response.

    It sounds like you have a caching plugin active. If so, please disable all gf-entries-in-excel/* urls from caching.

    Thanks! I don’t have any caching plugins installed, but based on what you said I’m guessing it might be a result of my WordPress hosting provider caching on the server side? I don’t think I can disable that, but maybe I can just add a garbage variable like ?nocache to the end of my download url to force a fresh version.

    It could be a varnish cache. You should be able to do thing with adding a header to prevent caching. But your way sounds easier ??
