[NSFW] I catagorize product and it shows up on wrong page

    Still can’t activate store. I am able to add products , and was able to fix the site due to installing a nasty plugin. I am happy with the woocommerce. I am using the Storefront theme. I also added some pages. But, when I add a different product other than the main sex doll product, then it adds it to the sexdoll page and also to the pocket masturbator page. Look at the site and explain what is happening. Only thing I can think of is maybe all products go to the home/shop page, and that can’t be changed on the Storefront, free theme. I also wanted to add dropdown menus on the main menu navigation.I haven’t figured how to do the dropdowns. it would be nice to have the feature, I just can’t figure out how. I will upgrade to a theme that allows me to drag and drop. I have figured how to add products and now it seems easy, after many days that put me close to emotional breakdown. On the plus side I fixed the plugin disaster, at the file level, so happy about that. Plus I think I install the GA code today, and that was big step for me.

  • You can control what your shop page shows at:
    Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog > Shop page display.

    You can set the shop page to display: products only, categories only or both products and categories.

    This is a WooCommerce feature, so all themes will be like this.

    You can set up product categories at:
    Dashboard > Products > Categories

    On product edit pages, you can assign a product to one or more categories.

    As to menu dropdowns, go to:
    Dashboard > Appearance Menus
    add menu items

    To make a menu item into a submenu item, drag and drop it slightly to the right until it “clicks” into place. There’s a bit of a knack to it, but dead easy after the first one.

    This is a WordPress feature so will be the same for all themes.
