While testing, I just noticed an interesting “issue” during the flow of purchasing a product. Here’s what I did, and where the issue came in.
    1. From the SHOP (product) page, click on a product to go to its single product page
    2. from that page click on “Add to cart”
    3. Once you’re brought into the cart page, you will see the green bar on the top that says “<product name here>” has been added to your cart. Along with the “Continue shopping” button.
    4. If I decided that I want to increase the quantity on a product, I make the adjustment and click on “Update cart” the cart is updated, but the “continue shopping” button goes away and the green banner just reads “Cart updated.” This is where the issue lays. If I was “Joe Blow” I wouldn’t know that I can just edit the link in my browser to get back to the “shop” page. The only option I have at this point (after updating my cart) is to “Proceed to checkout”.

Is this a known issue/bug? Is their a way to fix it so that the “Continue shopping” button doesn’t vanish after updating the cart?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Howdy!

The “Continue Shopping” button disappearing from the cart page notification banner when a quantity is updated isn’t a bug.

You would currently need to custom-develop a solution to keep it with the Cart updated. banner shown here:

I would recommend adding a “Shop” menu item to your site so users can easily navigate back there if needed:

I also think it’s a great idea for this to be added to core so it functions the way you’d like. Because of that, I opened an enhancement request here:

I can’t guarantee that our developers will approve and add it, but you can track the progress at the link above. ??
