I had 12 quizzes running before this morning’s glitch. I disabled and deleted 6.1.0 and installed 6.1.1 fresh … and now all my quizzes are gone:

You do not have any quizzes or surveys. Click “Add New” to get started.

    Please advise. Thank you.

  • Hey @geneise

Thanks for using QSM! When an admin deletes any WordPress plugin from within the “Plugins” page, WordPress runs that plugin’s uninstall script. These uninstall scripts delete the plugin and all of its data. This is why WordPress says “Are you sure you want to delete Quiz And Survey Master and its data?” when you delete the plugin.

This is great because you wouldn’t want to have your database bloated after trying out several different plugins. However, this means that if you completely delete QSM, the plugin will delete all of its data as it should when it is being uninstalled.

After you uninstall the plugin, there is no way to recover data that was deleted when you uninstalled the plugin.

I recommend you restore from your most recent backup of the site.
