Replace search.php ?

Hi,

I’ve just discovered Code Snippets and it’s excellent.:)

One question … I have a client who has a custom search.php page, different from the one which comes with the theme. Each time I update the theme, I have to manually edit the updated search.php theme file. This is a pain. ??

Is there any way to set up a snippet to “overwrite” the search.php used with the theme?
