Polls are closing automatically at random

I can’t reproduce the problem on my end though. Let me know if you can reproduce on a fresh install of just WordPress and WP-Polls. If not I will have to wait for more people to comment before finding out what is the common issues.

This may be related to the issue I was having due to IP address. rsonic could try updating the plugin and making a new poll, or changing the settings on polls to only track cookies.

I don’t know what the problem or conflict was but uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin seems to have worked.

This seems to happen with one of our clients as well. I took a look at the latest changes, and to me it looks like there’s a bug in the cron closing polls that have pollq_expire = 0.

When adding a new poll, selecting “Do NOT expire this poll” now saves the value of pollq_expiry = 0 instead of '':

By looking at the code, it seems like these polls are closed automatically during the next cron run after they’ve been created.

I’m also having this issue across 2 sites after the latest update.

Also, the option to select the current active poll sometimes resets to an older poll instead of the latest poll.

Thanks for the latest update, but unfortunately, now when loading a poll with <?php get_poll();?> the output on the site is:
