Hello I’m having trouble with the general setting of Wise Chat
(Disable anonymous users and read-only for anonymous users)

I would like to have the chat set so that everyone can see it but only registered users can write. So I’ve enabled the Read Only field for Anonymous.
Unfortunately, as a registered user, I can see the text field and also enter a text in it, but if I click Send the text will not be displayed in the chat window. I disable this feature and enter a text and send it will be displayed.
The same is true for the Disable anonymous user feature.

I found out that Wise Chat is not compatible with the WPA SEO Auto Linker plugin when both plugins are enabled. There are some problems with Wise Chat on whom to make settings in the Disable anonymous users and read only for anonymous users area

WPA SEO Auto Linker works fine

    Hello @watbube,

What version of WPA SEO Auto Linker plugin your having issues with? I have just tested the latest WordPress, Wise Chat and WPA SEO Auto Linker (default settings) and Read Only field for Anonymous option worked fine.

    Thank you

    Hello @watbube

Are you able to provide detailed steps that lead to the issues you have mentioned before? We have performed some tests, but couldn’t reproduce this.

    Thank you
