NextGEN Gallery issue on CMS site

I use WordPress as a CMS for a small newspaper and I am trying to integrate NextGEN (a wonderful plugin) into the site. The problem I have is on our homepage you can view the first paragraph and possibly a picture without having a subscription. But if you click the link you must login or buy a subscription.

When using NextGEN, I would like the gallery and slideshow to appear in the post page only and not on the home page. Currently it shows up on the homepage which throws the design all out of whack. But it does show in the post page also. Is there a way to keep the gallery from showing on the homepage and only in the post page?
