Retrieving Deleted Default Page

  • When I first began creating my website, I’d deleted some pages that were default to the theme that I thought were irrelevant. But now I realize I do indeed need the “Shop” page. How can I recover that particular page?

    1. are they still in trash? If so, recover from there.

    2. If not, get them from a fresh copy of your theme.

    3. You can also recover from an old backup of your site taken before you deleted those pages.

    It was quite a while ago, so they aren’t still in my trash.
    How do I copy from my theme?

    You can upload a fresh copy of your theme.

    If you haven’t already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case something really goes wrong. You can never have enough backups!
