    Hi. First thanks for the plugin. It’s amazing.

    However, the links added on the footer of each RSS item are noffolow:

    The post %POSTLINK% appeared first on %BLOGLINK%.

    Can you guys make them DOFOLLOW? Or at least give us the option?

    I believe is most logical to use dofollow as default.

    Imagine someone is using my feed to update their website and a “nofollow” link for the original creator? Don’t think it’s fair.

  • Hello @dancort,

    Thank you for contacting the support.

    Glad you liked the plugin!

    Please use the following filter to change the behavior:
    add_filter( 'rank_math/frontend/rss/nofollow_links', '__return_false');

    An excerpt from an article I found online:

    The content of an RSS feed is not accessed by search engine crawlers; all they will see is the XML code that created the RSS feed.

    Notably, links in RSS feeds have “nofollow” instructions attached as default in most CMS. WordPress, for instance, attaches nofollows to every feed link and image by default but that can be disabled in the dashboard.

    Hope that helps. Please let us know if you need any further assistance, we are here to help.

    Thank you.
