Automatic Update Not working

I have five WP blogs, all 2.7.1 and the automatic update doesn’t work on any of them. It goes to the page Upgrade WordPress with the text “Downloading update from https://www.ads-software.com/wordpress-2.8.zip”
Then nothing. I’ve tried this in IE and Opera as well as FireFox.
Anyone else had this problem with upgrading to 2.8?
