• Hey Guys,

We use a custom footer made via elementor. When we edit text it changes color and can not be changed back. Also the text box is behaving strangely. When we edit the text it will sometimes create a space at the bottom of the text so the text does not center properly.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

Did you disable the default Elementor color and font settings from the Dashboard > Elementor > Settings?

For the alignment, can you show me a screenshot? I’m seeing centered text on your footer.

    Hey Amit,

No, I did not check those boxes. I just checked the my library box and it allowed me to change the color of the text, but as you can see the text will now no longer center. I am not sure if this is an issue with Ocean or Elementor. Even while editing the footer in Elementor the text will not center.

It will not do anything. If I set it to Top, Bottom or Middle.

I have narrowed the issue to the column. The section is centered. The text will not center in the column.

If you look at the footer now I have fixed it. I had to load a back up. If I were to edit the text again it would not center again. I find it hard to believe this can not be reproduced by someone else. There is an issue with the how the column and the text boxes are interacting.

I just went back and made an edit to the text in the text box. It immediately jumped up a row and now again refuses to center.

Then I went back and made the section a little bigger and the text changed back to light gray. There is no way I am the only person experiencing this.

Is it because you have added two social media icon in the right of the footer. Try to delete them and check it works or not.

What? They are in a completely separate column. No, That is not the problem. Yes it will still do it without them. I already know that.

Are you saying you can not use a footer with separate columns? That would be a glitch.

No, no need to delete it. Currently, the text in the left column is centered. Can you share a screenshot what exactly do you want to achieve? I misunderstood your question.
