same url, new site

  • Hi guys,
    I am in the process of a business make over, and want to build a new website (offline) while our current website remains live.
    Can I do that and then just take my url to the upgraded site once I’m done?
    I’m not going to import anything, I really just want to start with a clean slate.
    I built the site I have, but am not tech savvy, don’t write code, just want a “new document” that I can save with my url in a month when I am done..
