Changing the font color & not receiving email notification

Hello,
Right now the font for the “your Message” box is white and the background is the same color so i can’t read it. What is the CSS code for black? Looks like it needs the code because current color is in code. I’m having trouble finding it in this forum.

Also I’m not receiving email notifications even though I am using my admin email.
