WP5.0.3 Gutenberg — Can’t Preview Posts

  • I’ve encountered an irksome issue with WordPress 5.0.3. When I want to preview an unfinished post within Gutenberg, the browser spins a bit and then stays in the same editing window. (the preview/view url ends with ?editor=true, rather than ?preview=true)

    The only way to view the post is to publish it, then view the frontend. This behavior began after the most recent update.

    The fix was installing the classic editor plugin.
