• Just upgraded from version 1.0.2 to 1.0.6 and though I do see improvements to the UI, there are some major issues present:

    1. PHP errors:
      Warning: Illegal string offset 'columns' in /.../public_html/wp-content/themes/portum/inc/helpers/class-portum-helper.php on line 233
      Warning: Illegal string offset 'columnsCount' in /.../public_html/wp-content/themes/portum/inc/helpers/class-portum-helper.php on line 233
      Warning: Division by zero in /.../public_html/wp-content/themes/portum/template-parts/frontpage/clientlist-section.php on line 40
      Warning: Division by zero in /.../public_html/wp-content/themes/portum/template-parts/frontpage/clientlist-section.php on line 68
    2. Advanced Slider lost all font styles (disappointing but not a huge deal), the trouble is it now displays text versions of “navigation arrows” and “navigation dots”. Instead of arrows the text “prev” and “next” are shown, “01 / 04”, “02 / 04” etc… instead of dots. The original arrows and dots are much better, especially for mobile.
    3. Fixed theme copyright – the theme I originally installed allowed a custom copyright line, this was important to me and your theme was chosen based on this option.
    4. Title and subtitle positions have been swapped, previously the element with smaller font was placed above the larger font element.

    I’m stuck in a difficult situation, either rolling back to the earlier theme with an inferior UI and less/limited versions of features or trying to fix all of the above within a time crunch. Can you offer any advice?

    UPDATE:
    I’ve disabled all plugins, tested different PHP versions (5.6.38 and 7.0.27), double-checked memory limits.

    The php errors involving “clientlist-section.php” breaks the organized grid and stacks multiple logos at the end of the row.

    The page builder (Epsilon/Alpha) preview and viewing the site whiled logged in shows the main menu as an unstyled list (the footer menu is also off), slider does not slide… the CSS is absent?

    Hello @jaywhy,

    To solve that PHP error please go to your dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Blog > Blog layout > and select something and save.

    To solve the issue with the clients please go to ppearance > Customize > Epsilon Page Builder > Client section > Layout > Item group > select your number of columns > save.

    Unfortunately Advanced slider no longer has those options you mention, I’m sorry.

    The footer credits can be changed by editing the theme’s files at the moment. You should be able to do it from: template-parts/footer/copyright.php

    Regarding your other CSS missing issues, could you please send me your website’s url so I can take a look? This does not happen on my end.

    All the best,
    Mihaela

    Hi @mplusb,

    Thank you for the reply however this is not yet resolved.

    1. Headline title and description – their positions have been switched can I revert so the smaller description text sits on top?
    2. PHP errors – they did go away for a while that is until I switched themes to troubleshoot — the errors have returned. Changing and saving settings has no effect, I’m seeing these (sometimes twice each on the same page):
      Warning: Illegal string offset 'columns' in /.../public_html/wp-content/themes/portum/inc/helpers/class-portum-helper.php on line 233
      Warning: Illegal string offset 'columnsCount' in /.../public_html/wp-content/themes/portum/inc/helpers/class-portum-helper.php on line 233

      I’ve hidden the errors for now but wonder if they might be the reason the theme’s client list section is broken (I can send you a link via email or web form if you’re interested).
    3. Advanced Slider – unfortunately due to the changes I’ve had to use a different slider plugin.
    4. Fixed theme copyright – thanks, I’m overriding the template part so it survives future upgrades.
    5. Missing backend CSS – this has been fixed and appears to be stable.

    Also, worth noting…

    Instagram Error
    The access token link leads to:
    {“error_type”: “OAuthForbiddenException”, “code”: 403, “error_message”: “You are not a sandbox user of this client”}
    Are you still in sandbox mode?

    Colour Input field
    Field obscured by colour dropdown, the following admin CSS applied:
    .minicolors {
    padding-top: 24px;
    }

    Hi, same issues here, just upgraded to version 1.0.6:

    Warning: Illegal string offset 'columns' in /web/htdocs/www.dnra.it/home/wp-content/themes/portum/inc/helpers/class-portum-helper.php on line 233
    Warning: Illegal string offset 'columnsCount' in /web/htdocs/www.dnra.it/home/wp-content/themes/portum/inc/helpers/class-portum-helper.php on line 233
    Warning: Illegal string offset 'type' in /web/htdocs/www.dnra.it/home/wp-content/themes/portum/page.php on line 43
    Warning: Illegal string offset 'type' in /web/htdocs/www.dnra.it/home/wp-content/themes/portum/page.php on line 71

    I don’t really know what means, any help will be really appreciate.
    Thanks
