    Hello,

I just want to let you know that it’s not possible to update your plugin through the WordPress dashboard.

Clicking on the changelog (view details of version X) opens a blank popup, and trying to update it returns a blank “Upate plugins” page where nothing happens.

I have several other plugins and I can update them just fine, this is the only one that doesn’t work.

I can, of course, upate it manually.

    Thank you.

    Hi @otpabu

Thanks for the heads up. I just tested this on another WooCommerce installation and it works fine.

    Update shows up: https://monosnap.com/file/ZnMnI4FCEv0qDLTG4qIs9Su8ORyOZy
    Update went through fine: https://monosnap.com/file/pBtpuerNg8HEuBcyKYtlYghig9B8eb

Probably this is not a general issue. I could imagine that it has to do with your hosting provider that is caching plugin updates and just didn’t have that particular update in the cache yet.

Have another look. If the caching theory is true, it probably is already fixed and you should be able to update.

    Regards
    Aleks

Hi, thank you for your reply.

I have updated the plugin from Plugins -> Installed plugins and it worked.

The issue only happens if I try to update it from Dashboard -> Updates.

Great. I’m glad it worked at least that way.

I have the same problem at this moment. Can’t update the plugin from the dashboard but after reading the answer from otpabu and updating it from the plugin page is the solution.

Same here too – two different hosting providers (AWS and Vultr), but copy of the same site

Thanks for reporting this. Unfortunately I still can’t replicate the issue.

The plugin doesn’t make any changes to the WordPress updating mechanism. Also the plugin updates are being served from the official WordPress repository servers. So it is difficult to deduct where that issue is coming from and what the issue is.

If you want to help pinpointing the issue, please send me an email to [email protected]

    Thanks
    Aleks
