    Hi there,

I’m very new to this plugin and wanted to ask:

In the Slow Queries table, if a “Core” component is listed, does that mean it’s an issue with the WordPress install itself?

I’ve deactivated all plugins, minus Query Monitor and switched my theme to Twenty Nineteen and this is what I see when I click Slow queries:

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Edit: sorry forgot to mention that I’m using Query Monitor because the site runs slowly and the hosting told me something keeps sending a ton of queries that’s exceeding memory limit..etc

    Thanks for the message.

QM will show you a “Slow queries” alert for any queries that take longer than 0.05 seconds, so those queries are only just over that.

I would say that your server is probably a little underpowered, or it’s being overloaded by the amount of traffic that it’s serving. You might want to speak to your web host about upgrading.

    Hi John,

Thanks so much for the quick reply! If we have further issues, I’ll make sure to bring it up my host again ??

On the upside, QM did a great job helping me find a few plugins in the site that seemed to be effecting the loading time, so I’ve replaced them with a few less ‘heavy’ plugins (e.g. removed WPML, now using Polylang..etc)

    Thanks again!
