Can’t exclude categories

    I want to exclude some categories from searches. I’ve found the Catalog IDs and entered them in the Disallowed field in the Woocommerce Default Product Search but my searches still turn up products that are in the category I want excluded.

    In fact if I put a single category in the Allowed field, which should restrict searches to only that category, I still get searches outside that category.

    Hi,

    Probably you entered category ids in the wrong widget.
    “Woocommerce Default Product Search” settings works for the Product Search widget added in the sidebar.
    If you use a custom smart search widget then you should add those category ids into that widget settings.

    If this not help, please provide a site link and a screenshots of plugin settings.
