  • As I see in system status you have old WooCommerce version. There was fix for this in 3.5.3 version if I’m not wrong.

    As @manverupl mentioned above, please update your version of WooCommerce to verify whether this solves the issue you are having.

    About order numbers skipping, this is expected and shouldn’t really be a concern. It’s not expected for WooCommerce order numbers to be sequential.

    Here’s a simplified explanation of why this is:

    Orders are assigned a post ID, which is what you see as the order number. But you should take into account that not only orders get assigned these IDs. Several different content types of content also get post IDs, including posts, pages, images and comments.

    This means that if an order is placed and it receives the ID 1001, then you upload ten pictures to the website before receiving another order; the second order will have the ID 1012. The 10 numbers in between will have gone to the IDs of the images you posted. The same applies to posts, pages and comments posted on the site in between orders.

    If you absolutely need order numbers to be sequential, you could use an extension like Sequential Order Numbers Pro.
