Button color combination illegible

    Hi,
    What a great idea for a plugin!

    I tried it an it’s nice. There is a problem, however, with the button colors: dark red text on a dark green background isn’t legible, I could barely read it. Good thin the colors change on hover ??

    Hi Lea, thanks for the feedback! It sounds like the printout or PDF looked ok?

    The issue with the button being illegible would be because it (currently) allows your theme to style it. So those buttons look different for each theme.

    Mind if I ask which theme your using? That will help me resolve the issue.

    I only viewed the content, didn’t print it, and yes, it looked fine.
    I use the Cosimo theme.

    Still, I suspect this will often be an issue with people’s themes, so I’ll need to try to have the plugin theme these buttons.

    I found where those colors are coming from: it is from the theme, but from my customization of it in the Appearance -> Customize screen. You choose the Colors tab, and then:
    set Text Color = #804910
    set Special Color = #325c00

    Thanks for the details @leac. I reproduced the issue using your color settings.
    I found that if I instead make those buttons to instead be inputs of type “submit”, that they look better with your color layout, but good with other themes too.
    If you have time, it would be nice if you could test it out. You can download a version of print-my-blog with my fix here: https://github.com/mnelson4/printmyblog/archive/BUG/button-layout-options.zip
    Just try generating the report, and the buttons should look better with you color scheme.

    Yes, now it looks better, with the Special Color as background-color, and white as the text color.

    Thanks for testing @leac. I probably wouldn’t have realized this had you not pointed it out!
    This change will be in the next version of the plugin.
