searching with AWS stopped working

I noticed that AWS have stopped providing search results on my shop, I am not sure when this started but I noticed it yesterday and haven’t been able to figure out why today.

I read that the AWS will only replace the standard searching on the site when the query parameter “type_aws=true” is there. When I remove this from the url the search results page works just fine.

I can’t seem to figure out if there a conflict with an other plugin or what is going on. I have re-indexed the table to see if that changed anything, but sadly no.
