AMP for embedded videos

    Hello,
    I usually embed videos by adding the Youtube URL. When I view the post on my phone, the videos show up with aspect ratio that has longer height than width. Is there any way to make them more compact and square sized than rectangles?

    Hi @rajk748,

    I’ve just checked the URL which you shared in AMP, seems the embedded videos size are showing correctly on the mobile device ( Screenshot: https://take.ms/xZZwn ).

    I think you’re viewing the non-amp URL on the phone because I’ve also checked the non-amp version on my phone & in this, embedded videos are showing with an aspect ratio that has longer height than width.

    Thanks for the clarification. I just typed my website URL and it went to the non-AMP version. Is there any way it can be redirected to AMP when accessed through the smartphone?

    Hi @rajk748,

    There is an option called “Mobile Redirection” in Advanced setting where you can redirect your website to AMP when accessed through the smartphone.
