Hi @zwanzon, the line of code that you referenced is for when you have enabled the Payment Request Buttons option in the Stripe plugin.
Once that is enabled, your customers will see the payment request button (either Google Pay or Apple Pay) as well as the normal purchase button separated by “OR”.
Here’s an example:

If your customer is using a browser that doesn’t support either Google Pay or Apple pay, then the “OR” should be hidden by default.
Since this is being shown, it could be a conflict caused either by your theme or a third-party plugin.
I would recommend checking to see if this issue still happens when using the default Storefront or Twenty Nineteen theme. If it doesn’t then you’ll need to contact your theme’s developer to have them fix the issue the theme is causing.
If changing your theme doesn’t help, then you’ll want to do some further conflict testing. We have a guide on how to test for conflicts here:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/#section-4
Since these tests can impact the look and functionality of your site, I recommend doing them on your staging site. If you don’t already have a staging site set up, check with your hosting company as many offer this as part of their packages. Otherwise, you can use a free plugin such as WP Staging to set one up. An alternative would be to use the Health Check plugin to troubleshoot.
