Yes, that will install redis extension for PHP.

    Best regards,

    Ruikai,

That is only part of my question. Is there a resource that I can be directed to, or should I open a ticket? As I mentioned, I am a subscriber to this service, and I would like to better understand the recommended configuration.

    Specifically:

“I’m unsure of the recommended (or even suggested) setup path, but I have noted that both Memcached & Redis are Disabled on my configuration. I am on PHP 7.2, which I understand has an incompatibility with Memcached.

Is the “best practices” setup to move to PHP 7.1, or implement Redis?”

    Hi,

    Please check this page

    memcached works with php70/71/72/73

ideally , if you do not have compatibility issue , should try stick with higher PHP version if possible.

you can stick with php72 and go either redis or memcached.

    Best regards,
