    Hi,

Since your latest update some images on my website were cut in the middle, thus only the half image is currently appearing.

    Hi,

    Please give a report number.

Need to check if this happened to all your images or only couple new optimized ones. We didn’t update the image optimization mechanism.

However, the half image could happen when optimize some certain images in very rare situations.

    Hello,

these images existed a couple of months ago to the website. I am not sure what report number do I have to provide to you.

Also, my Gtmetrix has been degraded due to some Instagram pics that I am showing to my website. I see a “serve resources from a consistent URL” as a recommendation for these pictures, although it was not an issue before the update.

To give the support number, please check https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-get-help/
Navigate to LiteSpeed Cache > Report, press the Send to LiteSpeed button, make note of the “Report Number”, and then post the number here so we can look it up..

By the update did you mean v2.9 to v2.9.1 or between which versions?

After going through couple pages, I didn’t find the half cut images. Can you give more hint on this?

Go into a product and check the Brunotti logo image.

Also, the footer image had been cut but I uploaded it again.

For those cut images, please go to image library and switch them back to original images. Re-uploading them won’t fix this issue as the new images will be sent to optimization request again next time.

If the logo and footer images are the only cut ones, please try the above way. If there is other images cut, please give some hints.

    Thanks.

    This is so weird.

The image is in its original version, when visiting the product as a logged in admin, I can see the image properly, when visiting the product as not logged in user then it is appearing as cut.

It could be because you are using CloudFlare, which cached those half images.

    Thread Starter ITCS

    (@dimath99)

I have deactivated the CloudFlare cache, but the issue remains and in addition to that my Gtmetrix score has been reduced to 30% from 96%! It now shows that all the images are not optimized although they are.

Please consider to enable webp and redo optimization.

Also, for the images that came from https://scontent.cdninstagram.com which caused Serve resources from a consistent URL, I don’t think we can help at this moment. Sorry about that.

    (@dimath99)

The image optimization has been done by imagify, so your answer is not related to the actual issue. There is something wrong to the way that your plugin is caching images. I cannot explain it in any other way, as until yesterday all the images appeared to be well optimized on Gtmetrix.

Is there any update or are you still looking into the issue?

    Hi

@dimath99, Litespeed Cache does not cache static data. Its the browser or in your case Cloudflare + Browser are the ones caching your images.

I went to your homepage and tried to find an image which was half-loading, Couldn’t see any. Can you link me to any broken image so that I can take a look and suggest a solution?
