    Hi there
On my site: [ redundant link removed ] All orders are “born” with status “on hold”. At this status I want Stripe to authorize the payment and once I change status to complete I would like to capture the payment.
Is auth and capture not a part of this plugin? : https://stripe.com/docs/charges

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Side note: @michaelgimm Please do not post your link on the post content. You look like a spammer when you do that. I have removed the redundant link.

    Hi @michaelgimm,

You can authorize transactions with our Stripe plugin.

To do this go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Stripe. There you will see the “Capture” setting:

If you uncheck that, then Stripe will only authorize your orders. You will then need to manually change the status of the order to Processing or Completed. Once you do, Stripe will capture the charge.

Keep in mind that authorizations are only valid for a few days. So you aren’t able to capture a transaction that you authorized last month.

Thank you very much. I had misunderstood this setting, but it is clear now ??

    Cheers
