Contact form7 delay
-
Hello,
My contact form7 submission delays when your plugin is active. It seems that there is a compatibility issue between those two plugins.

Hi.
No compatibility issues with CF7 and WP Mail SMTP (tested).
1. What do you mean “delays”?
2. How have you configured WP Mail SMTP?When I press the submit button it takes around 30 seconds to complete the request.
I have configured the SMTP through an external email service, office 365.This is for sure an issue with the contact form 7, because I am using your plugin on other websites too without the CF7 and works fine.
The process of sending an email may take quite long, it depends on your server and response speed of the office365 servers too.
I would check those credentials on other sites, just to be sure. Then why the contact form 7 works fine when I deactivate your plugin?
It does not make sense.Because without our plugin CF7 sends emails through mail() PHP function.
With the plugin – using your settings for SMTP. The issue is with settings, not the plugin itself. If you mean the plugin’s settings, all the settings are properly implemented.
Then there is a server that communicates with the Office365 server.
Instead of blaming all the third-party services, which is not a serious approach, do you have anything else to suggest to solve your bug?
This is a bug of your plugin for sure.
Just for your info, the third party server has nothing to do with the fact that the submit button of your plugin is spinning for 30 seconds to send the email. Please be serious.

You don’t understand how WP Mail SMTP plugin works, that’s why you are saying this. I understand, that you are frustrated, but I developed the plugin and I know how it works.

Consider these your words that you wrote earlier in the thread:

So why are you blaming me and the WP Mail SMTP plugin right now? You said that on other of your sites it works fine.

I am serious and calm. I would be thankful if you could be too. Currently, it seems your emotions are covering you too much.
3rd party server – perhaps not (although it CAN respond to requests long enough to slow things down significantly). But I was saying about YOUR server, where the site is hosted. If it’s misconfigured – the email can take ages to be sent. I said this earlier:Then there is a server that communicates with the Office365 server.

So, you said earlier that plugin works fine for you on other your sites. It works fine in my tests. So the plugin is out of the question. The one thing that is left – that’s the server, where your site with long email sending process is hosted.
As I said earlier and you intend not to understand is that the plugin works fine with other sites, ON THE SAME SERVER, using office 365 too, but not contact form 7. So there is something wrong with your plugin and the contact form 7.
So let me explain it a little bit more to you, as you are facing difficulties to understand things properly, we are talking for the same server with some other sites that are using your plugin, but not the contact form 7, and works fine. The only issue is with the site that uses your plugin with contact form 7.
SO NO MISCONFIGURATION IN PLACE.

Well, I do not use Google Captcha on my site. So, this does not apply in my case.
I have one question. Whenever I Click on submit button (Query form) it takes 13 second to redirect on thanks page (Contact form 7 Wp plugin). How can we reduce time for the same. I want to do it on 2-3 second.
In order to troubleshoot that, I’ll need to collect more details. When you get a chance, would you please go to https://wpforms.com/contact/ and click the ‘Complete a Form’ button on the right side? This will allow you to submit a ticket without a WPForms account. Please mention there in your message my name (Slava) with a link to this thread and/or short description of a problem, so I will be notified by our support team.
