    Hello,

I just purchased this plugin which appears to do exactly what I want it to do.
We have subscription pages that need to be updated the first of every month with the new monthly edition, so this looks great.

    I have one question:

I see the button to “Accept Revision” on the pages view.

Do I need to click this button to make the page go live on schedule?
Do I need to click this button at all?
If I do need to, will clicking it now over-ride the scheduled publish date/time?

I’m sorry for the noob questions, but I want to be very sure!

    Thanks!

    Hi, Jakub here ??

The button “Accept Revision” makes it immediately live.
Under the hood, Revision Manager TMC checks for post status transition. In this case it is looking for {future}->{publish}.

In conclusion, if your page is no longer marked as draft/pending and has a future date of publication, you do not have to do anything anymore.

    Thanks and stay tuned. ??

    Thanks Jakub.

So, just to be sure, if I have a revision draft scheduled, I don’t need to approve it or take any other steps.

If it’s scheduled, then it’s all set to go and will be published when it’s set to?

    Thanks for the quick reply!

Hello again, sorry for delay in response. ??

If we understand correctly, you clone page to draft and change its publish date to future. It’s also important if you are using gutenberg or classic editor flow, as in current state gutenberg posts can only be accepted from posts list table button “Accept revision”, due to bug in asynchronous save_post hooking flow.

If you are using the newest version of WordPress, we recommend to use classic editor for maximum stability.

    Check link below:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/classic-editor/

It will bring back “schedule” button in editor view.

    Stay tuned ??
