    Hello,

it seems that my public_html has an old archive file.

it is downloadable at domain/archive.zip like: abc.de/2018…archive.zip

i cant find the file in cpanel or fileZilla.

    how i can delete it?

sorry if my question has a easy solution, i am not a pro.

for me it looks like a “ghost file”. 40mb that everybody could download, but that I cant delete, cause it is not there where it should be, the public-html…

greetings from berlin and thx for any help

  • Hey @gregberlin,

The file by default is stored in a folder named “wp-snapshots”, you should be able to find the file in there. Since the file has a random unique hashed name users would have to know the full filename in order to download.

    Hope that helps~

    Thank you for your reply,

the file is not in the “wp-snapshots” folder.

During the System Scan Duplicator says the archive would be directly in the public_html.

Also I can download it from: domain.de/2018…archive.zip

But I cant find the file in the public_html folder. it is not there..

Thats the problem. Any other idea?

Thats what duplicator says about the file:

    /home/pkufoykt/public_html
    [45MB] /home/pkufoykt/public_html/
    [45MB] 20180222_home_XXX_archive.zip

    Hey @gregberlin,

You might contact your host, I’m not sure I have ever heard of that. The only thing I could think of is that somewhere on your site there is a symlink that might be causing the issue.

    Hope that helps~
