• It’s been a week now that the new upcoming comments don’t show up on my post and my dashboard.
I get the email notification of the comment with the link back to my blog, but the comment doesn’t show.
This week I change hosting too. I’ve asked SiteGround if that would happen because of the move, but they said no.
Is it a problem with WP? or where should I look for help?
    Thanks

This is the one I got yesterday on the mail.
    Comment:
They came out wonderfully and so much like I remembered. My father said they tasted “like a bus ride to Caacupé,” which was the best thing to hear, and I sent some to my tios as a surprise! *Muchas* gracias por esta receta, Lizet

But it’s not on my post or dashboard.

Yes, I do see that comment on your post!

    Perhaps I’m not following.

Yes. You are right. I see them on my phone. So, is my laptop the problem.

    Probably cache.

Did it. Still doesn’t show up.
I responded to a comment on my phone. And my comment and the other person’s shows up on the post. But still, not on the dashboard.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Thread Starter chipabythedozen

    (@chipabythedozen)

    Thanks. I’ll try that.

    Thread Starter chipabythedozen

    (@chipabythedozen)

Nop. None of the plugins are doing it. ??

    Moderator t-p

    (@t-p)

    plugins are doing it.

Hoe about the theme? Have you tried switching to the deafult Twentynineteen ?

If You have, You may try MANUALLY updating. Download WordPress again and unzip it, and use that to copy up. Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), and delete then replace your copies of everything on the server EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings. (NOTE: do not delete the?wp-content?directory or your?wp-config.php?file). Please read the Manual Update directions first.

Backup: If you haven’t already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case something really goes wrong. You can never have enough backups!
